Week 8 Progress

I feel as if my writing ability has gotten a lot better over the time of being in this class which is what I am most proud of. Doing my assignments though have not been as routinely as I would like. Due to such a busy schedule with other classes and work, I am not always ahead of the game as I wish I could be when it comes to the assignments.My schedule is never the same every week so it is hard to do them the same time every week and had to miss a couple assignments here and there. To make up for those assignments I always do some of the extra credit assignments every week. The major change that I want to make for the second half of the semester is to try to get work done ahead. I would like to be at least a week ahead of schedule all the time so I always have room to do other stuff if needed. With my busy sched...

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Michael Jordan in the air about to dunk Source:  Deviantart After looking back through my different writings throughout my blogs, I can honestly say that I am happy on how it is going. When this class started I thought it would be a bit of a challenge constantly coming up with stories and having to write a lot since i'm not a strong writer. As the weeks have gone on though, writing as become much easier and I feel as if I am even more creative. The reading notes I am taking do help for my story but I also do believe I can improve on them a little more. I hope that by the end of this class I will be a writing wiz and able to carry it on throughout my career because writing is such a useful tool to have. I chose the image above as my favorite from my past stories because this image is such an iconic image. Everyone knows and loves Michael Jordan and this image is one of my favorite pictures of him from back in the day.

week 9 story: The tiger and the woman

This story is now in my  Portfolio Tiger Source:  Maxpixel Deep down in the jungle of the north there is a village in which a society of a couple hundred people live. In this village there is a woman by the name of Alexis who has lived at the village for over 50 years and the village honors her as if she was there queen. One day a younger member of the community within the village went up to the woman and asked, "Hello Alexis, I hope you don't mind but I was wondering why the village honors you so much, what is your backstory?" The woman then told the community member to sit down because the story may take awhile. It was 50 years ago and I was just over the age of 18 and I was having some sort of senses that were drawing my into the jungle. These sense became stronger and stronger as time went on and eventually I could not withstand them anymore and decided to leave the village.
